"I have had migraines for over 25 yrs as well as fibromyalgia. I take Percocet 5-325 which has been the only thing that keeps me a person not just hiding in my room from the pain but I have started to notice that I have needed to take 2 pills ever 4-6 hrs instead of just one. But this pill has been a life saver."

"short-term OK for pain would not want to take long term I am a cancer survivor and my most of my body hurts all the time I have yet to find a pain medicine that is safe and effective and non-addictive that helps with this side effect of massive amounts of chemo it's been 6 years and I've been living in pain everyday I understand why Colorado and California legalize marijuana I don't smoke pot I used to. but if someone comes over with a joint I may take a hit and I will say that marijuana does help the pain I would not want to use as a recreational drug but it does help the pain better than any opiate that I've ever taken"

"I have fibromyalgia for about 20 years now, I was taking symbalta, mobic and some other med. but they did not help. I take now Percocet for pain on really bad days and it helps a lot. Have no side affects. On days that I can tolerate pain I take Advil."

"Mallinkrodt - spelling may be off, but this is the best in effectiveness and efficiency. I’ve had no negative effects. If you have a choice, this is the best pharmaceutical company for generic Percocet."

"I have had 4 spinal fusions due to a work accident over 20 years ago and this takes the edge off enough to go to the grocery and keep my home clean and myself and hygiene up to par which is all I asked the doctor for."

"I always got pain relief. Now because of people abusing them, my doctor's are afraid to prescribe them. Why does everyone have to pay for what the drug addicts do? I only take one as needed, some days I have severe pain, but because of the thousand people abusing them I must suffer."

"Doctors are so afraid of prescribing any narcotic to treat REAL PAIN. The people who need it can hardly get it. I'm on a blood thinner so I take Percocet without anything else added. It's a good medication for pain, but not given enough for controlling pain. I'm over 65 have medical issues but treating the pain that goes with it doesn't get treated properly."

"My experience was that this was the only medicine that helped severe pelvic pain. I started on low dose but had to take two. Two months in my doctor agreed to raise the dose to 10mg/325 ....... I was worried about the amount of tylenol. Long story short had hysterectomy few months later. Took 2 months to wean myself off by tapering. Total I was on percocet 7 months."

"I developed spinal stenosis in my 40s. I was brought up in an environment where you didn't complain about aches and pains. You suck it up and push through it. As time passed, the condition grew worse and I was mega dosing things like Tylenol, Doans, Aspirin, and others. I'd take a handful at a time. Pain was driving me mad. At one point, I decided that I needed to 'kill' the pain. I got a very long, pointy kitchen knife, wedged it in the door jamb of my bathroom door, lined up the spot making my life unbearable, and stabbed the spot, which was stupid. At the emergency room, I was given morphine to get the pain under control. They discharged me with a pack of 5 Percocet 10/625 and told me to see my doctor. A few days later, I took it. It worked. I wasn't pain-free, but I could function. It did make me a little tired and sweaty, so the next time I cut it in half and found I got the same level of relief. Eating something first eliminated the negative effects. To be continued....."

"Hurt SI joint 8.5 yrs ago. Took ibuprofen for about a year back surgeon prescribed codeine , did not help, then prescribed norco , worked but bad side effects. Then percocet. I get by on taking as little as possible as I am a recovering addict. Always 3 or less a day dose is 5/325 . It helps stop the excruciating pain but brings on other not wanted side effects of numb leg and sciatica as I compensate for back pain. It is what it is . Until they come up with a surgery or better meds , this is my life . Dependent on opioids."
